Where’s & What’s SDG-Project

In the history of Pakistan, its first time that the local community based NGO progressed from grassroots level to UN level participation, going to launch further a Mega Project in remote, tribal and rural areas of south Punjab Pakistan to serve vulnerable and marginalized population specifically women and girls, which is called SDG-Project

What will cover the SDG-Project

The SDG-Project will address the following multipurpose services to alleviate poverty through:- Education, Health, Research, livelihood (Micro Enterprise), Peace building, Gender Equality, Climate Resilience and Cultural Exchange

Global Achievements through Awards bestowed upon (1997-2024):-

1. The CEWS is a registered non religious, non political and non profit organization and tax exempted..

2. The CEWS is a  local community based NGO, which progressed from being a local community based to a global level organization to participate at global policy Reforms

3. The CEWS was founded by different renowned professional intellectuals of Lahore Pakistan

4. Top Asian University: Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), rated the

CEWS an Excellent Humanity server at grass roots level.

9. Established a network of 50 Community Based Organizations (CBOs) to ensure local

communities’ participation at grassroots level to own and sustain projects and benefited so far millions marginalised humanity. CBOs like Al-Flah Town, Chung Khurd, Kohar Bhtta, Nai Abadi Gohawa, Chachoonwali, Gadaai, Sakhi Sarwar, Choti Zareen etc.

10. CEWS enriched Institutional capacity to implement, monitor, manage funds with appropriate independent auditing arrangements.

Served over 2.3 Million (1997-2024) within over 25 years of vulnerable and marginalized through Education (Formal, Non-Formal & Vocational), Health (Preventive & Curative), Rights (against Violence & Child Labor), Environment (Removal of Liquid&Solid waste) and Dev.of Infrastructure(Roads, Streets and Gas) Partners appreciates the CEWS partnership to work with

Similarly, Current activities are also required to be funded

Registrations / Exemption

The CEWS is in Pakistan based registered under the Societies Act 1860

As well the CEWS is registered from Pakistan Punjab Charity Commission

Donations / voluntary contributions are exempt under section
Approval U/S 2(36) of the Tax exemption Ordinance 2001
