The CEWS is a registered from Pakistan Punjab Charity Commission as well tax exempted. The CEWS is a local community based non profit organization. The CEWS have had a credit of serving various projects of poverty alleviation through education, health, rights, capacity building, environment and infrastructure development to ease marginalized and vulnerable population of urban slum areas of Lahore and rural areas of south Punjab district DG Khan, Pakistan. The CEWS serving since 1997 and served during over 2.3 million in over 25 years of vulnerable and marginalized population specifically women and children.

The CEWS is rated BEST-NGO by the Government of Punjab, Pakistan. as well recommended for the biggest president civil award of Pakistan by the Government of Punjab Pakistan, as well earned the Special Consultative Status with the UN to participate at global policy reforms. Thus, the CEWS progressed from being a community based to a global level organization.
